workbench is primarily a job portal owned and is an initiative of the only e-governance Labor Department of the Government of West Bengal to widen the window of opportunity for job seekers state. The portal provides an interactive platform between the three main parts namely, job seekers, the job providers and institutions providing education and training. It provides online modules specially designed to meet the needs of employment providers across the country.
Function Of Employment bank
Job seekers can register online. temporary registration identification will be created. then it is required that the job seeker to visit any state employment office for validation of the temporary identification. Validating the user-ID and password are sent to job seekers through SMS generated by the system.
Any employer or placement agencies across the country can register on Job Bank. Such registration process is completely online.
Any institution providing the State of [affiliate of any Government Department / Organization / University etc] can also enroll in Job Bank. Your registration process is also online.
After enrollment, employers and recruitment agencies can search the resumes of job seekers registered and generate the list as needed. They can post also work-related ads, published on the portal.
